Eastern Area Multiple Birth Association

Eastern Area Multiple Birth Association (EAMBA) is a not-for-profit organisation, run by a committee of volunteer parents of multiples, affiliated with the Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA). We provide communication, support and services to parents of multiples (twins, triplets, quadruplets, more) within the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.

Our members are located in the Maroondah, Yarra Ranges, City of Knox, Whitehorse and Manningham areas. 

Our Mission:

To provide multiple birth families with the opportunity to connect and engage within a supportive community. The aim is to bring a sense of belonging, provide practical advice and resources, and emotional support for raising multiples.

Support: EAMBA offers support from those who know. Our group is full of families who have experienced multiple births in all their different forms. Have a question? Ask in in our Facebook members group!

Community: EAMBA has a vibrant community and holds events throughout the year. From mums dinners, fundraising events, playgroups, playcentre events, park hangs and more. There's always an opportunity to connect with your local multiple birth community.

Our committee: The best way to get involved with EAMBA is by joining our committee. We have a spot for everyone and work as a team. If you can only offer an hour or two each month, you are still welcome to join us! Volunteering with EAMBA is super rewarding!

Fundraising: An important part of EAMBA is fundraising so we can continue to provide support to our members, especially those in our community who need it most. We have various opportunities for fundraising throughout the year.
